POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for supporting outside sales function by compiling, and maintaining records of sales/marketing nature. This position maintains sales/pricing information and customer records, while monitoring quality to established standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Compiles and maintains sales initiatives in presentation format including: product launches, quarterly promotions, surveys, and other market data.

  • Assist sales with other administrative needs ensuring accuracy of information is relayed to end customer.

  • Coordinate event planning for special promotions or events, as well as regional sales meetings.

  • Assist supervisor with special projects and product launch details.

  • Establishes and maintains internal and external relationships with a high degree of customer service.

  • Interfaces with all departments and resolves problems and issues in relation to sales, customer service or marketing.

  • Assisting other departments when it is required.

  • Takes responsibility of work area to produce a safe and quality food product. Reports all food safety related problems to your manager and to the QA dept in order to initiate immediate action.

  • In the event that the person in this position is absent, he/she will be replaced by a person properly trained to perform such duties.

  • Provides store level support as needed: Case resets, special events, building holiday displays, new store sets

  • Analyses and compiles Nielsen Scan data. Places information into presentation format.

  • Complies and posts monthly sales and budget results to all direct sales people and broker network.

  • Maintains a working knowledge of customer’s portal systems. Performs all tasks needed to insure all information is current: New items setup, monitor pricing and promotion levels, compile sales history when requested.

  • Source, order and provide fulfillment of all incentive items: store display materials, purchase incentives, logoed merchandise.

  • Provides quarterly promotions and new item information to secondary distributors

  • Designs, orders and provide fulfillment of point of sale materials

  • Develop and provides ad copy of digital billboards


  • Required education generally equivalent to an Associate’s Degree required, a bachelors’ degree preferred, with a combination of experience and education also acceptable.

  • Requires 2-5 years of administrative, sales, business management, or related experience.

  • Requires a basic understanding of GMP’s, and SQF guidelines.

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs

  • Requires good oral and written communication skills in order to interact with speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

  • Requires a strong knowledge of all office equipment and business software systems, including but not limited to Microsoft office, knowledge mine, AS 400 and AX software.
